Man: Hello. This is Patrick Brown speaking. Can I speak to Paul Tench, please?
Woman: Oh, I’m sorry, but he is out on business this afternoon. Can I help you?
Man: Yes, please. I need to get a message to him.
Woman: Of course. Is tomorrow morning soon enough?
Man: Well, actually it’s rather urgent. I’m calling about the meeting of the Finance Committee. I’ve been having some serious problems with the new software, and I’m not sure if I will have all the spread sheets ready for our meeting tomorrow afternoon.
