答案 Has Science Made Us Lazy Science and technology has great impact on human life. Thanks to a large number of innovations and inventions man is capable of doing many things which they would never have thought of in the past. In fact, science has not only changed our life style but also our way of thinking as well. The development of science and technology has provided great convenience and com- fort, but some people worry that science has made man lazier than before. For instance, automobiles deprive man of the fun of walking, the Internet is powerful but many people hate to handwrite a letter to express their feelings because of the powerful tool. In my eyes, such ideas, however, are incomplete and prejudiced. The advancement of science may make us "lazy" physically, but even this is not necessarily the case. After all, it is up to ourselves whether to take a ride instead of automobiles. Actually, it is science that leads to open-mindedness, which in turn results in more wonderful ideas and inventions. Thus, science does not make us lazy. Instead, science makes us active both physically and mentally. We have been benefiting much from the development of science.
