What was Susan’s first job? Which foreign language will Jane most need to use in her new job?

M Tell me about your work experience, Susan.
F Well, I’ve been working as a bank cashier for six years.
M And what else have you done?
F I trained as a secretary and later went to work for Morleys. I stayed there for two years before moving to this job. Oh, and after college, I worked as a sales assistant for a while.

M You said, Jane, you used Portuguese in your previous job.
F I did-and I also speak fluent Italian. Will I get the opportunity to use my languages in this job?
M You should do  though we export mostly to Argentina and North America. So we’d better arrange some Spanish classes for you. Fortunately, your knowledge of Portuguese and Italian should help.
