Families with only one child take the biggest part, which is 76% while families with three children are the opposite, which take only 2%. And 10% families have no child and 12% have two children. Because of the family plan policy in China, most families have accepted the idea that one child is enough. Moreover, the economic burden will be too heavy if an ordinary family has two or more children. In addition, more and more couples choose not to have babies because they believe that they would have less free time to enjoy themselves if they have a baby. Families with two children may think that the only child will feel lonely if there is not a brother or sister. Families with three children are mostly the traditional ones. Therefore, people’ s attitudes towards life are reflected in their family sizes.
