Advocates believe that people can get real benefit from knock-off products because ordinary people can not afford the authentic items which are usually at high prices. Besides, knock-offs imitate trendy designs and have multifunctional performances, letting people enjoy the achievements of modern technology. Opponents on the other hand firmly hold that knock-offs should be banned because they violate intellectual property laws and make the original brands lose their market shares. From my personal view, I side with the second opinion. Knock-offs surely will bring more negative impacts on our lives and the market order. Another reason is that these products are often of low quality and lack durability.
