答案
A Bold Attempt Is Half Success Have you ever thought of the famous proverb "A bold attempt is half success. " ? To me, it indicates that trying is the first step to the destination, which is crucial to success. From the classic saying, it’s clearly seen that though an attempt doesn’t necessarily bring success, a series of necessary tries let us know what doesn’t work. From this perspective, we can go on to do what works, and finally succeed. A good case in point is Thomas Edison’s success. Someone asked Edison once how he felt to have failed 10,000 times before creating the light bulb. He responded by saying that he hadn’t failed; he just found 10,000 ways that wouldn’t work. Another case is Columbus’s discovery of the Americas. It’s considered to be one of the biggest lucky mistakes in history because it’s indeed a chance discovery, not Columbus’s original intention. But undeniably it perfectly confirms the famous words "You don’t know what you can do until you try. " Judging from the above examples, we can safely conclude that " Something attempted, something done. " Any bold attempt you make to realize your goal is bound to make a difference.
