答案 In the cartoon, a young man meets some weird requirements when applying for jobs. Apart from education background , height and facial appearance, he is also required to be born in the year of the dog. Admittedly, when interviewing candidates, some employers are being very superstitious. They have been hiring and rejecting candidates based on preference for certain blood types, Chinese zodiac animals or astrological signs. For instance, they claim that people with blood type A can be favored, as they are believed to be "serious workers". While those with types 0 or AB can be quick-tempered and selfish. Apart from this, some employers even take candidates’ facial features and their precise time of birth into consideration. Preference is sometimes given to less qualified employees if their face or time of birth suggests prosperity for the company’s business. Above all, when young people are seeking jobs, sometimes their work experience and skills are not enough to land the job. Hence, some of them are forced to change names, fake their day of birth or even get plastic surgery to get a "well-shaped" nose. It is high time that we solved this ridiculous issue in order to create a fair environment of competition for job seekers.
