The Han nationality is an indigenous group that made its home in the Yellow River basin which is the cradle of the Chinese civilization. Now the Han nationality is found in all parts of the country, but mainly in the Yellow River, Yangtze River and Pearl River basins and the Songliao Plain of the Northeast.
