M1: Jack, when you are done with the paper, can I read it? I need to check something in it.
M2: Here, you can take it, Peter. I’m done with it. Oh, by the way, how is Carol working out in her new position? I was talking to her earlier, and she seems to have lost a lot of her confidence since she took on her new position.
M1: Really? I don’t understand why you would feel that way because as far as I am concerned, she is doing a great job. In fact, I was really happy with the result of the first project she took on since joining my team.
M2: That’s good to hear. I was worried that she might not be performing at her best since she’s around people that she does not know very well yet.
