答案
As is shown in the bar chart, the number of people aged between 20 and 29 accounts for 44.6% in using bike, ranking first when compared with other age groups. The number of people with the age between 30 and 39 takes up 35.17%. And those who are beyond 40 years old seem less likely to use bicycle, especially for the ones that are more than 60 years old, with the percentage being less than 0.8%. Basically, two reasons can explain the phenomenon above. Firstly, people aged between 20 and 29 are mostly young workers and students. With the increasing of traffic jam, it is more convenient for them to go to work or study by bike, thus easing the traffic pressure and protecting the environment. Yet people beyond 50 years old are mostly retired workers. There is no need for them to ride bike for work. Secondly, riding a bike has become a fashionable thing today, which can be accepted more easily by young people. Riding a bike needs both the energy and skills, which seems very difficult for the old. From where I stand, riding a bike is beneficial to our body and mind. It is also good for the development of a modern society.
