答案 Making the Most of Our School Days When it comes to the topic of life and time, I strongly believe that no one would deny that life is too short and time is too precious. As the old Chinese saying goes, it was rare for one to live to 70. And thanks to present better medical care and living standard, the average age that people can live has been older, but still not over 70 in most areas. So life may not be as long as we have expected, therefore, time is limited for all of us. While our school days, the best time in our life, is even shorter. We should spend only 12 years to finish our primary and middle school. If we are lucky enough, we can spend another 4 or 5 years in a university. These years, for many of us, is only once in our lives, which accounts for small part of our whole life. Short as the school days is, it is just these years that decide what we are and what we are going to be. As is known by the proverb, time is a playful thing, and it slips quickly and drinks the day like a bowl of milk. It means time goes so easily if we don’t make good use of it. It is urgent that we make the most of our school days.
