Paul Moodie: For almost the entire last year of the old millennium, Ford and its producers have been preparing the 2-minute commercial intended to greet the new millennium and show the diversity of Ford customers. They filmed for three months in nine countries. That, plus the cost of running the ad, would total tens of millions.
