    My hometown is a beautiful place, but it is not very big. It stands beside a wide river at the foot of a green hill.
    But what were things like in the town in the old days? It is said that it was a sad dirty little town. There were only about several thousand people in it. Life was good for a few rich families. Butt most of the people were poor. They lived in dark, unhealthy rooms in old buildings and small huts on narrow muddy streets.
    Everything has changed now.

The people in my hometown are confident that their life will get better generation after generation. The future of my hometown tomorrow will be even brighter.
