问题 What is the main idea of the passage?

Animation means making things which are lifeless come alive and move.
From earliest times, people have always been fascinated by movement. But not until this century have we managed to capture movement, to record it, and in the case of animation, to     reinterpret it and recreate it. To do all this, we use a movie camera and a projector.
In the world of cartoon animation, nothing is impossible. You can make the characters you create do exactly what you want them.
A famous early cartoon character was Felix the Cat, created by Pat Sullivan in America in the early 1920s. Felix was a marvelous cat. He could do all sorts of things no natural cat could do like taking off his tail, using it as a handle and then putting it back.
Most of the great early animators lived and worked in America, the home of the moving picture industry. The famous Walt Disney cartoon characters came to life after 1928. Popeye the Sailorman and his girlfriend Olive Oyl were born at the Max Fleischer studios in 1933.
But to be an animator, you don’t have to be a professional. It is possible for anyone to make a simple animated film without using a camera at all. All you have to do is draw directly on to blank film and then run the film through a projector.

选项 A、It was the first famous cartoon character created by Pat Sullivan in America.
B、It was worked out in about 1928.
C、Felix was famous for his removable tail.
D、He could do all kinds of things no common cat could do.

答案D

解析 录音提到,Felix是一只非凡的猫。他能做普通的猫所不能做的一切事情,故选项D正确。选项A中the first famous错;选项B中1928年并不是Felix the Cat诞生的时间;选项C中提到的只是原文中谈到Felix the cat时举的一个例子,并不是以此出名。
