The problem is getting worse with a rapid rise in the number of vehicles on the roads and increased violations of traffic rules by drivers, pedestrians and bicycle-riders. Besides, ignorance of traffic rules is so popular that one may find himself the only person to wait for the green light while the majority of people will go straight ahead even when the red light is glaring. If all people are willing to comply with traffic rules, our country will be a much safer place to live on.
