答案 Children from One-Child Families Since the mid 1970s China implemented birth-control policy. The practice of "one couple, one child" policy is quite successful. As a result, the number of children from one-child families has skyrocketed in China. Children from one-child families are regarded as lucky ones and their development has caught and held much attention. The only children are provided with all the necessities, and they enjoy comfortable child-centered life during their stay at home. Paints spare the rod and grandparents spoil the children. They have shown all their love and concern to these only children. Nowadays the only children shoulder more responsibilities as parents make a very strict demand on their only children. Children are supposed to develop their artistic taste and practical ability. They are engaged in seminars of various types, their parents hope these out of class activities could bring their knowledge or skill into full play. As is shown above, children from one-child families can be well educated intellectually, morally and healthily.
