But I don’t think it is advisable for college students to open e-shops. On the one hand, running an e-shop requires a lot of time and efforts. Unlike a regularly scheduled tutoring job, operating an e-shop means hours and hours of dealing with potential buyers. Sometimes it takes rounds of negotiation about the price and mailing arrangement to make a deal On the other hand, running an e-shop requires trading skills and fiscal knowledge. Some students are ignorant of financial risks and might end up in heavy debts. In conclusion, I think college students could neither afford to lose the precious time nor manage business risks. A wiser choice is to spend their valuable time on absorbing knowledge and take some relevant courses, such as trades, finance and management if they want to get involved in business.
