答案
Is a Test of Spoken English Necessary? When it comes to the necessity of the test of spoken English, views vary from person to person. A majority of people consider it very important to hold a spoken English test. They agree that spoken English is as important as written, for the ability of speaking, listening, reading and writing constitute the four independent elements in assessing one’s English proficiency. However, there are still some people who are not in favor of this kind of test at all. They bear such a thought in mind that since they’re not going to go abroad, it’s not necessary for them at all to command spoken English. As far as I’m concerned, I do welcome the test of spoken English. With die development of economy, a large number of foreign companies have surged into China with the result that th communication in English has become increasingly important. The test will provide us with a good opportunity to practice our spoken English constantly and taking into account all the factors, I will try my utmost to speak as much as possible and contrive to achieve a good grade in this test.
