答案 In the picture, parents are holding up their son. Surrounding them are numerous expenses they have to cover ranging from payment for kid’s interest classes to nutritional meals, from school uniforms to purchasing a house near a good school. This picture illustrates the heavy financial burden born by parents, especially the exorbitant cost of their kids’ education. In my opinion, it is not necessary for parents to enter their kids’ names down for various interest classes or after-class schools. Instead of forcing their kids to learn, parents need to understand what their kids’ interests are. For example, if their child simply does not like studying music but is really good at playing chess, it is advisable that parents send their kid to a chess school and save the money which would otherwise be spent on music interest classes. To accommodate children’s interest is the best way of educating them, because they would be motivated to learn things they enjoy, and have a better chance of sticking to them. In conclusion, education is indeed a valuable investment, but turning a blind eye to kids’ interest is a reckless one that would only add to parents’ financial burden.
