Which statement is right?

M: How did you like Egypt?
W: Oh, it was fantastic. It’s one of the most interesting places I’ve ever seen.
M: Where did you go?
W: Well, we spent most of the time in Cairo and Luxor.
M: What’s there to see in Cairo?
W: Well, not all that much, in fact, there are museums, and the pyramid of Giza, that’s really something.
M: What’s the city like?
W: It’s very large, very spread out and the streets are always noisy and dirty.
M: I thought you like it.
W: Well, I do in a way. It’s different, but I like Luxor better. Luxor is a little town right on the banks of the Nile. It’s very quiet and peaceful and a good deal cleaner than in Cairo. And I actually did more sightseeing there. The temple of Karnak is close by, and on the opposite side of the river is the Valley of the Kings. That’s where all the Egyptian pharaohs are buried.
M: Did you buy anything?
W: Oh, sure. There are some marvelous shops in Luxor, with all sorts of interesting things, much better than in Cairo. I bought a gold necklace. Want to see it?
