   The poll finds that the public favors some government protection from cyber problems but in general people are not especially concerned about issues such as information overload or the never-ending flow of phone calls, faxes and emails. The survey shows that "some kind of gap has been crossed: computers are part of everyday life for most Americans, and the Internet is close behind".
