What is the living-room like?

M: I know from the ad that you have an apartment for rent．My friend and I are interested in it．
W: Yeah．it’s next to this apartment．Why don’t I show you around?
M: I’d like that．
W: This is the living room．It’s not big．but it’s bright and airy．
M: Can I see the bedrooms?
W: Sure．they’re upstairs．This is the staircase leading to the rooms．This room is bigger．We’ll give you a bed and a dresser．
M: Do the windows open and close?
W: Yes．they have locks that work too．And this is the bathroom to the right． There is a bathtub and a shower.
M: ls the heating in good condition?
W: Of course．It will keep all the rooms at 68 degrees during the day,and 65 degrees at night．
M: Isitnear amarket?
W: Yes．it’s within a walking distance．It takes you about 10 minutes if you take the short-cut．
M: That’s nice．How much is the rent?
W: It’s 300 dollars per month．It’s really worth it．
M: If we decide to take the apartment．how soon could we move in?
W: In a week．It should not be longer than that．
M: I’ll have to talk it over with my friend．Perhaps she’d like to see the apartment too．
W: Okay．That’s fine．
