答案
To take a glance at the chart, we can draw the conclusion that in general, both the numbers of visitors and spending of Chinese tourists in Britain have increased by the end of 2007. In terms of the number of visits, we can see that it increases from 2001 to 2004, but slightly declines in the year of 2005. Then, it continues to increase and reaches about 80 thousand in 2007. As for the a-mount of spending, it declines first from the year of 2001 to 2003 and reaches the lowest of about 29 millions in 2003. After 2003, it begins to increase in the next two years. However, the number of spending has a second decline in 2006. In 2007, the situation quickly returns to the normal track and the spending reaches about 61 million, nearly twice the number of that in 2003. To sum up, both the number of Chinese tourists in Britain and the amount of spending will continue to increase.
