The decision was taken at an urgent meeting Saturday in Buenos Aires, Argentina, just 11 days before the tournament was due to kick-off.
     The decision follows several days of meetings between national football confederation presidents in Buenos Aires. Officials from Columbia voiced their satisfaction, having feared the lucrative tournament would be taken away from their country.
