答案 A Turning Point in My Life One will be faced with many choices in a life time, and we should treat every choice seriously, no matter it is significant or insignificant, because many choices that seem to be insignificant could be avery important turning point in one’s life. What I’m telling here is just such a turning point that seems to be insignificant. After I graduated from high school, I was admitted by a famous university in North China. Students there are required to learn skating in winter, and I could still feel the coldness of that outdoor skating rink. It’s a hard course for students from northeast China, not even to say to a student from south China. After several classes of study, I still couldn’t skate fast enough, and the coldness was a real torture to me. Although a lot of us couldn’t skate good enough, we had to take the exam when the semester was to end, and all of us started to skate after the whistle of the teacher. I tried my best to skate as fast as possible, but still, I was not fast enough to reach the requirement of speed. We had to skate 3 laps in total, when I was in the second lap, someone was skating for their third lap, and I was clear that I had no chance to pass the exam. But when I finished my second lap and passed the teacher, he cried out a time. He must had mistaken my second lap as the final lap. I was quite conflicting then, because I could pass the exam by that result, and skating was really a torture to me at that time, but if I didn’t tell my teacher the truth, I became a cheater who cheated in the exam. After thinking for a short while, I chose not to tell the truth, and went away with my classmates, but I started to feel guilty, and couldn’t get rid of it. I really hate the sense of being a liar, this sense of guity was more difficult to bear than that coldness, so I told my teacher the truth before the end of that class. After severl more classes of practice, I took part in the makeup with some other classmates, and I successfully passed the exam at last. This is not a significant or glory story as others may tell, but to me, it is a real turning point in my life. I felt the sense of guilty, the shame of being a liar, and the torture of regret that is much more unbearable than the outdoor coldness of wind in northeastern China. I will always live honestly in my rest life.
