Likewise, his father is holding an umbrella for his mother and his grandmother for his father. Not far away, his grandfather, with an umbrella in hand, is rushing to catch up with his grandmother. This picture draws readers’attention to parents’ and grandparents’ overprotection to wards their kids and the harm it may cause. In my opinion, parents should leave some room for their kids to take care of themselves. In short, it is advisable that parents know the impor tance of letting go and launching their kids on the journey to independence. Anyway, the outside world is the destination for kids when they grow up.
