Consequently, some people assert that the Internet will take the place of paper media. There’s no doubt that the Internet outweighs paper media in a number of ways. For instance, reading online is more efficient and convenient. Also, the Internet offers up-to-date information, which enables people to know immediately what is happening in the world. There are two sides to everything. I still don’t think that paper media, with their incomparable advantages, will disappear from our life. For one thing, paper media, be it newspaper or magazine, can reach a larger number of audience, especially those who may not have an easy access to the Internet. Also, paper media can be easily browsed anywhere without power supply and they are more convenient and more advantageous for long-term storage. Moreover, paper media offer more reliable information while some information on the Internet is not tested and is even misleading. All in all, due to the respective advantages of the Internet and paper media, the best choice is to combine the both so that readers can enjoy more convenience and benefits in acquiring information.
