There are four types of indorsement: (i) a blank indorsement, which, no transferee is specified; (ii) a special indorsement, which spells out the name of transferee; (iii) a restrictive indorsement, which will prevent further negotiation of the bill; (iv) a conditional indorsement, which transfers ownership subject to a specified term or condition.
