Rats that eat high levels of a natural sugar known as fructose (果糖) seem to age faster than other rats-and the same could be true for people who eat too much sweet 【C1】______

Collagen, a fibrous protein found in connective tissue, bone and cartilage (软骨), basically holds the body together. The 【C7】______ of collagen is what causes sagging (松弛) and deep wrinkles in older people.
The process affected, Werman’s team said, is known as "cross linking". 选项
A、altering
B、converting
C、ranging
D、varying
答案
C
解析
近义词辨析题。根据from…to…后面涉及的食品类型范畴可以判断选ranging。alter和vary也都可以与from A to B搭配,但是它们分别表示“从A变成了B”和“在A与B之间呈现不同”,而非表现范围;而convert与into搭配,表示“转换成”。
