答案 I think that a good friend is a good listener. People often have problems and like to talk about them with friends. A good friend listens and offers advice without being too critical or judgemental. A good friend also makes time for his or her friends. I don’t mean that they should always be available at a moment’s notice, but good friends should ... well, like I said, make time for each other. I don’t like people who are rude or selfish. I find rude people very offensive. Selfish people are terrible to be with because they fail to take into account what other people might like to do. I also don’t like people who shout a lot. I mean, it’s fine if you are at a football match, but not in a restaurant or art gallery. It’s inexcusable behaviour. Don’t tell my parents, but I prefer spending time with my best friend. She’s really fun to be with. I’m a little shy and not very outgoing, whilst she is quite the opposite! She’s fun loving and full of energy. It’s wonderful to be with her. Of course, I love my parents, I don’t have any siblings, but we have different interests. Most of the single people I know prefer to spend time with their friends. I think that most people feel "freer" when they are with their friends. Friends are roughly equals, but within families there is usually a hierarchy which influences how the family members behave towards one another. I think that being around your boss is a little difficult. I mean, you always have to consider your working relationship as well as your personal one. If you have a problem with one of those relationships, it will inevitably affect the other one. Again, spending time with your friends allows you to be "freer" and act more naturally. I like my boss, but I really wouldn’t like to spend much of my free time with him. Too problematic! To be honest, I don’t think it’s a good idea, but if a person wanted to be close friends with their boss, I’d suggest that they should first be a good worker. That will get the boss’ attention and make him or her more inclined to be friendly. Most companies have regular parties or activities where employees can get together, so if you want to be friends with your boss, you should take those opportunities to chat with him or her and get to know them better.
