    It is inevitable that the cultural difference has impact on business. For example, when a company having a meeting, the word "table" in American English means to put something on the agenda.     There are four cultural dimensions (方面) that were defined in Hofstede’s research: power distance, uncertainty avoidance, individualism, masculinity (男子气概). And recently Hofstede added one more: long-term and short-term orientation.
