Once they find fake commodities with the same brands as theirs, they must report to the organizations concerned, warn consumers not to buy them, and teach them how to distinguish the fake from the genuine. Second, consumers must learn to protect their own interests and not to be led astray by false advertisements. If any fake commodity is found, just inform the relative supervising departments immediately. Only by doing so can the government take effective measures to drive fake commodities out of the market and protect consumers’ rights. Last but not least, those who produce or sell fake commodities should be severely punished. All in all, fake commodities have negative impact on both consumers and society.
