答案 Cheating at examinations has long been a headache of school authorities although every possible effort has been made to stop it. Some students see cheating as an effective approach to passing examinations and such cheatings have given rise to many adverse effects on students’ study and career. The reasons for cheating at examinations consist in both the students and the schools. The students who cheat at examinations are always those who don’t study hard or are rather poor at certain subjects, so they have no choice but to cheat. Meanwhile, good performance in examinations has been the most important standard of being a good student. The schools often evaluate and rank students according to their results in examinations, bringing great pressure to students. There are at least two applicable ways to solve this problem. First, the schools should introduce a new all round system of evaluating a student to replace the traditional test-oriented system. Second, more high-tech means, such as video surveillance and fingerprint identification, should be employed to catch such cheatings.
