Would you say employers are paying more attention to workers’ health than before?
选项
答案
Yes, I think employers pay more attention to worker’s health than before. This is closely related to the government’s regulations and laws. Nowadays, workers aren’t allowed to work outdoors in high temperatures. If a worker absolutely has to work outdoors in hot weather, for example, a traffic policeman, the person should get extra pay for the work. Many employers will buy extra medical insurance for their employees. Employees are getting free annual health checks. Some employers organise events such as end-of-year get-together, monthly birthday parties and travelling. Those activities show the employers’ concern for employees’ mental health as well.
