What will Arab League’s monitor do in Syria?

The Arab League is reviewing what its monitors have done so far in Syria last month and what more can be done to help bring the violence there to an end. Ministers are meeting in Cairo on Sunday and it’s expected they will agree to send far more monitors to Syria than the 165 all already there. Activists have complained the observers have done next to nothing to stop the government’s bloody crackdown on protesters. Thousands have died since the uprising began in March.
