答案
Mini presentation for 2 candidates (about 5 minutes) Interlocutor: Thank you. That’s the end of the first part of the test. In the next part you are each going to talk on your own. Now, I’m going to give each of you a card with two topics. I’d like to choose one topic and talk about it for about one minute. You have one minute to prepare for this. You are allowed to make notes. All right? Here are your topics. [Each candidate is handed a different topic card, and some paper and a pencil for notes.] Interlocutor : Choose one of the topics and prepare to talk about it. Remember you can make notes if you wish. [1 minute’s preparation time. Both candidates prepare their talks at the same time, separately.] Interlocutor : All right now. * B, which topic have you chosen, A , or B ? So would you like to talk about what you think is important when arranging entertainment for clients ? [B talks] I think that is a complex task. First, I want to get some useful information about our clients, and make a certain type of activity. Some factors should be considered, such as our clients’ age, interest, profession and sex. Therefore, they will enjoy the entertainment. Second, I will determine the venue, which should be easy-finding and comfortable. The last, which is also a very important point, is the cost. I always think that we should do the best job with the least money. That’s my opinion. Thank you. Interlocutor: Thank you. Now, * A, what do you think is the most important? [A replies.] Yes, I agree with B. I think the type of activity is the most important thing. For our aim is to make our clients happy, we should know them and take an appropriate type of activity. Thank you. All right. Now, * A, which topic have you chosen, A, or B? So would you like to talk about what you think is important when choosing offices to rent? [A talks.] There are three important factors to be considered, location, facilities and cost. First, and the most important, is location. It should be convenient for traffic, easily found and well-known. Then, I would take the facilities into consideration. The office should have some necessary office appliances, such as tables, chairs, computers, printers and so on. Finally, it is the cost. We can’t rent a room which is too expensive. That’s all. Thanks. Thank you. Now, * B, which do you think is the most important. [B replies.] Location, of course. Because the right location can show others the company’s image. Sometimes, it can also be a good advertisement to publicize the company and its products. Thank you. [Materials are collected.] USE CANDIDATES’ NAMES THROUGHOUT THE TEST
