W: How’ s your mood today? Feeling happy?
M: Very happy. I’ve just had lunch.
W: That’ s good! I was doing some research about feeling angry when you are hungry.
M: Oh, how is that?
W: When we are hungry, the level of sugar in our blood is lower. As the blood sugars drop, this causes an increase in particular hormones—hormones that the body uses to prepare us to either fight or run away from a dangerous situation. And those have an impact on our brain. The neuropeptides that trigger for hunger are the same ones that trigger for anger.
M: So when we are hungry, the same emotions can run through us. We can be angry and make poor decisions. And that is hunger.
Q10: What are the two speakers talking about?
Q11: According to the conversation, what will happen when we are hungry?
Q12: What can we say about anger and hunger according to the conversation?

C、Blood pressure drops.
D、Heart rate increases.
答案
