The painter of the picture tries to set a role model for us and reminds us that we should do so when caught in the same situation. For a time, this question, to help or not to help the old, has been frequently discussed in our society. Truly, a phenomenon that some who helped the old were sued and charged falsely exists in our life, but we shouldn’t take this as an excuse not to help the old in need. Just imagine another situation; What would we expect people nearby to do if our parents fell down? Definitely, if everyone of us turns a blind eye to the suffering of the others, and if we just do things to our own advantages, we would live in a society without love and warmth. On my part, what the picture conveys is the positive energy that our society needs. To help or not to help, the answer is definitely yes. We should extend a helping hand to those who are in trouble, and show our compassion and care for those who are undergoing misfortunes. Only in this way will we live in a society full of warmth and love.
