M: I am going over the proposals from each of the clubs on campus for fund raising activities to support the green campus program.
W: Isn’t that the idea to plant trees all over the place and turn parking lots back into open fields?
M: Ya, that’s it. Student organizations are also responsible for raising the money.
W: What’s your part in this grand scheme?
M:(2)As a coordinator, I am the logical choice to be in charge of putting everything together. Somebody asked if I would be willing to do it. Now I wish my work wouldn’t be turned down.
W: What’s the matter? Is it too much for you to handle?
M: I’ve got to admit it’s more work than I expected. I had to contact dozens of athletic teams and special interest clubs to ask for activity proposals.
W: It does sound like you’ve got your hands full.
M:(3)That parts already done. Now we’ve got to filter all these ideas, pick the best ones and then recruit man power for each of them. Feel like helping out. I could use an assistant.
W: I bet you could. All right. Since you are desperate,(3)I suppose I can squeeze a few hours out of my busy schedule. What do you want me to do?
