Every public school has many rules and customs peculiar to itself -- uniform, special clothes, ties, hats, rituals and traditions. But the essential characteristics are more or less the same in them.    Though reaching is arranged centrally for the school as a whole, the boys live in separate "houses". "Fagging" is a well -known public school institution.
