答案 Shown are 3 different pie charts describing coffee. The first shows where it is produced, the second where it is consumed and the last who makes the most profit. With 46%, South America is by far the largest producer of coffee with Central America, Asia and Africa showing 19%, 18% and 16% respectively. Asia follows at the rear with a mere 1%. Looking at the values of coffee consumption in Europe, the US, Japan and "others" , we can see that Japan brings the least amount, 8%, whereas Europe with 44% is nearly as much as the US and "others" put together (22% and 26%). From the last pie chart, we can see that most of the profits end up with the wholesalers, and only 45% is split between the exporters, the producers and the retailers. Overall then, it seems that the most profitable route for coffee is to import from South America and sell it wholesale in Europe.
