答案 The chart illustrates the reasons why drink-driving, a big social headache, remains a grave problem. 70.0% of the respondents think drink-drivers take a chance on not being caught by the police, while 69.8% believe drink-drivers are not severely punished. Low security consciousness and legal awareness among the public account for 64.1%. Other reasons are also mentioned, such as laxity in dealing with drink-driving and inadequate police resources (63.8%), punishment allowing too much flexibility (61.9%). The survey results clearly indicate that more efforts should be made by the government to resolve drink-driving.
