Police in southern Afghanistan say a roadside bomb blast has hit a United Nations vehicle, killing one Afghan man and four security guards from Nepal. A UN spokesman confirms there was an accident, but did not provide details. Elsewhere, officials say an explosion today outside a school in the western Afghan city of Harad killed at least three children. Details of that incident are not yet clear.
