答案Examiner: Thank you. Now here is a list of relations between exercise and health. What do you think"! I’d like each of you to choose three from the list and tell each other why. If you hold different opinions ,you may argue. You may also add your own ideas that are not listed here. All right. Would you begin now"! Key Points: Exercise and health Benefits: 1. Exercise can improve ones mood. When you exercise, you move a lot and you have to be more active. It therefore helps you to be more optimistic. 2. Exercise will fill your life with activity and therefore make it more interesting. 3. Exercise will help you to rid yourself of inertia. If you do exercise regularly you will never be a lazy person. Therefore exercise has great effect on one’s character. To sum up, exercise is beneficial and necessary. 4. Although you will not necessarily die without regular physical exercise, it’ll certainly help you live a longer and healthier life. 5. Exercise not only builds up our bodies but also helps our coordination. For example, to be a good basketball player your must be able to coordinate the movements of your arms and your legs. Exercise also benefits our organs and enlarges our blood vessels. In a long term this protect us from heart attacks. 6. Exercise can also improve our reaction time. For instance, when you play table tennis, you need to react as quickly as you can. 7. Exercise is one way to increase your energy level. Exercise also helps the brain produce natural tranquilizers that fight stress and tension. There are different types of exercises to choose from. What type of exercise we do usually depends on our age, interest and physical conditions. 8. We all need exercise. Regular exercise temporarily tires the body but then actually gives you more energy. This is why many people who suffer from general tiredness can benefit from taking more exercise rather than more rest (as long as there are no medical reasons for their fatigue). 9. Exercise makes you feel and look better and can also help you to lose weight as it burns up fat to produce energy. 10. The important thing is to know which kind of exercise is suitable for you. It is best to start with gentle exercise and to build up gradually. The best time for exercise is usually in the earlier part of day, in the evening it may be better to relax unless you are very fit, you should not try to lift very heavy weights. The best all-round exercise involves repeated, easy movements: walking, jogging, swimming and cycling are all good examples. Also exercises such as bending and stretching which help you to move freely and easily are much better than exercises which only build specific muscles, such as push-ups and weight-lifting. 11.Exercise is one way to increase your energy level. Exercise also helps the brain produce natural tranquilizers and fight stress or tension.
