If students do volunteer work, they would feel the pulse of the community and be more integrative. Secondly, volunteer work enhances the communication skills. In order to help those in need, volunteers must listen to people’s problems. Besides, in order to gain more help from the larger community, volunteers must convince other people the significance of their help or donation. That is why the more volunteer work students do, the better communicators they will be. In conclusion, volunteer work is beneficial to university students.
