These examples illustrate that overpackaging has become a phenomenon widespread in our daily life. (2) What are the causes of this problem? (3) Firstly, in order to make more profits, many manufactures usually wrap their products with many unnecessary materials. (3) Secondly, many customers think that the delicately packaged goods are (4) superior to those with plain packaging. The emergence of excessive packaging has resulted in many bad effects that can’t be neglected. (5) It is not only a waste of materials but also creates a huge amount of domestic waste which contributes to the environmental problems.
