Tell me about a film you have seen.
You should say:
what the title of the film was and where
you saw it
what the story (plot) involves
whether you have seen other films by the same director
and explain how you feel about this film.
You will have to talk about the topic for one to two minutes.
You have one minute to think about what you’re going to say.
You can make some notes to help you if you wish.

As I mentioned already, I went to the cinema yesterday to see a film. It was a sci-fi film called "Starworld". My friends told me that it is a great film, but to be honest, I didn’t like it too much. It was OK but nothing special. The plot was fairly basic—humans had to defend themselves against some aliens. Then there were some good aliens that came to help the humans to victory. The special effects were very good, but the quality of the acting was quite poor. The characters were very superficial and cliché. There was the handsome hero and the beautiful girl that he had to save. He had his helpers—a tough guy, a funny guy and a scientific, nerdy guy. There were no ’big name’ actors in the film. The director was Steven Channing, who has directed several good films in the past. I don’t know why he agreed to direct this film—perhaps he needs some money!
