If this trend continues, people will live in a polluted city. By that time, like what has happened to the passers-by in the cartoon above, urban residents will suffer from severe air degradation. It is essential that some measure be taken to put fume emission on hold. For one thing, government departments concerned must tighten rules to regulate the emission of exhausted gas by automobiles. For another thing, engineers are expected to improve their designs to produce more gas saving and low emissive cars. Only in this way can it be possible that a clean environment returns to our city.
