Although my ideas about jobs were not consistent, now I am determined on a college teacher as my lifelong career. There are a variety of reasons that have led me to choose this occupation over other more lucrative ones. First of all, teaching is learning. To make my lectures more constructive, stimulating and interesting, I have to read more books, explore new knowledge and fields, and gain a better understanding of the world--the very thing I enjoy in my life. Secondly, teaching means freedom and independence.
