What is the problem?

MB My phone hasn’t been working this entire week. Dale looked at it yesterday and he said to get a new one if it still isn’t working today. Do you know where I can get another phone?
WB You can check in the storage room on the third floor. There are usually extra supplies in there.
MB I think Dale checked there already and there weren’t any extra phones.
WB In that case, why don’t you talk to Betty in general affairs? I’m sure she’d be able to find or order a new one for you.
